Sometimes I find myself so busy looking for what I think I want, that I overlook what I need.  God created in us a need to love and be loved.  We forget that it doesn't always have to be in a relationship with another person.  There are so many animals out there who just love to know someone cares.  My heart was so happy went I spent time with these little darlings.  It's heart breaking to know what some of them went through and then to be cast aside.  Spending time with them was like therapy for me.  I am once again reminded to not forget the simple things in life.  And I didn't have to spend money either, yet when I left...my heart was full.  Thank you Lord for your natural beauty and blessings!!

⁶ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; ⁷ and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

In the beginning...there was nothing?

A fool says in his heart 'There is no God'.  I can't even imagine uttering those words.  Yet, with all the natural wonders in this world, there are those who still have not been 'convinced'.  When an atheist is on his death bed, does he dare cry out "Oh God!!!".  I don't think anyone has ever cried out, "Oh Buddha!!", "Oh Freud!!", "Oh ME!!!".  LOL

Thoughts of Love

This song...it just takes me into a humble, grateful place.  
A place where I can surrender once again.

I think we can all agree that the greatest love of all is God's love for us.  
Without it...where would we be?

His unconditional love boggles my mind.  
Yet, I'm so grateful.  
Lord, help me to get closer to You each day.

What an awesome love!!  What can compare?  
I can't think of anything...Can you?

We know that Jesus (God) gave His life willingly, but as I read Matthew 27.18, I'm noticing something I never really paid attention to before.  

The people did not crucify him cause they felt he was guilty.  
ENVY was the catalyst of this murder.  
Sad enough, in 2012, we see much hasn't really changed.  Lord have mercy.

NO Relationship......................... NO Wisdom

They say we use only 10% of our brains.  I believe in the Garden of Eden, they operated with 100% of the brain capacity God intended for us to have.  Then came sin...   Sin is worse than AIDS.  Oh yes!!  AIDS can only take a Christian to the grave, but sin...for ETERNITY!!!!  I believe God looks at the most intelligent person on this Earth, pats him/her on the head and says, "Awww, you're so cute!!"  Because it's like comparing a grain of sand to a beach.

The only way we can gain wisdom, which is beneficial in ALL things, is through a relationship with God.  I really have a hard time reading different books because I always have the feeling like 'I could be reading the bible'.
